Restoring Stormie's Self-Esteem

This beautiful young woman is close to my heart! She is engaged to my oldest son. While she was visiting from their home in Georgia, I proclaimed, "I need more boudoir models." Her immediate response was, "I'll do it!" (Can you say "Dream Client?") She is fearless in this regard. Hearing that response from her, I assumed she was completely confident in her body. It was only after the images that I learned she wasn't (Who really is???) and she told me that these images made her feel beautiful and brought back a self-esteem that she had lost!

This one is my favorite shot! I loved the introspection and the thoughtfulness on her face as well as the reflection aspect. To both of us, it is a timeless portrait, showing a woman thinking of herself AS a woman.

Will you ever win?" She received many, many comments ranging from, "Dayum" to posts about how beautiful she is and how she inspires those close to her!

This shot is another of my favorites! I love the light coming in the window and the contrast of the black lace against her lily white skin! I actually delivered over 70 portraits for her to keep forever. She will always be able to remember herself in this beautiful stage of her life, young and fresh, with the world at her feet.

I like to think that these photos were a part of their inspiration and courage to move out to Colorado Springs on their own and begin a life of independence and growth. Stormie (beautiful, appropriate name, right?!) has since become my Social Media guru. She actually built this website for me in a day and she is my Instagram go-to lady! I love you, girl!
